Her name is Elizabeth!!!

Why do people keep asking...what are you going to call her?  I have only ever referred to DD as Elizabeth, but people want a nickname or will automatically call her Liz.  Why does it need to be shortened?  They act like calling her by her full name is too much work.  It's a good thing that she isn't their child.

    My name is Elizabeth and my mom hates all nicknames for Elizabeth and yet, somehow I've been nicknamed my whole life. Liz, Lizzy, (not Beth though). People will nickname her. It's going to happen. But Elizabeth is a lovely name :) I love having it.

    I know that people will give her nicknames, but I figured that I could minimize it by always referring to her as Elizabeth. The only nickname I like is Ellie, but not for everyday use.
