Tummy time for 2 month old

How often/long are you giving your LO tummy time?

DD does not like tummy anymore. She fusses the minute I put her down. I let her fuss a little bit but usually I end up turnign her back over. We just do that multiple times a day so she gets some tummy time in regardless of the fact it isn't a lot at one time.

I only manage once a day for 5 minutes...she screams bloody murder.

I hold her on her stomach frequently though to give her a chance to hold her head up and I prop her up to "sit" with my hands so she is holding her head up that way...

I need to be better about it.

DS will give me about 5 minutes at a time. I try to do it twice a day on his activity mat, but he likes to be on his tummy on me so he practices holding his head up that way. Usually it's when I want him to fall asleep so we can nap and he's more interested in looking around at everything.

A few times a day, but only for a few minutes at a time

We're doing it about once a day, from 5 - 10 minutes or so. He is tolerating it a bit more, wriggling around for a good few minutes before he has a meltdown. I might cut the time short then, but I don't rush to pick him up when he starts crying. Like the other pps, he is often on his tummy while on me, and he is constantly moving his head around.
