Okay, so long story short. Trevor has had a bunch of GI issues since he was real little. Delayed gastric emptying, for a long time we thought it might be Hirschbrungs, and a bunch of other things. He would only have a bowel movement once every 3-4 weeks from the time he was born. Never constipated poop though.. Then he was diagnosed with a milk/egg allergy. After going off of all egg and milk/casein in our diets he was doing great. At 18 months we reintroduced and he's been doing fine. We'll he's been extremely crabby, not sleeping at all. His 2 year molars are coming through though. Within the last three days he's had 2 poops and both of them were green, harder and really smelly. Does this sound like allergies still? Or nothing to worry to much about? I'm just really praying that there's not something else going on with his bowel/intestines, etc.

Re: Allergy ?
I've heard that teething can affect poop as well.
After teeth have come through if he is still having symptoms, you may want to look at gluten as the culprit. Gluten can cause sleep issues and GI issues in babies, among other things.
thanks for your response, that's also been my fear is Gluten. He did test positive for the Celiac gene, but the other enzyme tests or whatever they were came out fine at the time. This was over a year ago when we did that test, and he wasn't eating any food at the time just nursing. I wonder if that would change the results of the bloodwork.
I'm going to pray that it is just teething, I just keep feeling lately that we are back to how it used to be. Him screaming like he's in pain in the middle of the night, and the only way to calm him is to wrap him up in a front carry with a bit of pressure on his belly.
Celiac screening is notoriously inaccurate for little kids. The tests are mostly designed for kids over 6 so the little ones have to be quite sick usually to get a positive. If he has the gene, I'd try cutting out the gluten (and possibly dairy). If my bio is working anymore, I have some celiac info in it.
