I found the Huggies fit small and he'd pee though them and Pampers fit a bit better but I don't want to use the dry max ones. We use Teddy's Choice and theyre good too
Pampers work better for DS. We use the Sensitive Swaddlers which don't have dry max up to size 2 (although he had no issues with the dry max). The best deal is to sign up for Amazon Mom and order the diapers through subscribe and save. You can find additional Amazon coupons in magazines like Parents, Parenting, Baby Talk, and American Baby (the last two are free subscriptions). I wad able to get a $40 box of Pampers for $10 and I've known others to get them for as low as $2 or so using the coupon codes. Other than that you can sign up on their website and they send occasional coupons but Amazon is really the best deal.
My son peed thru huggies , and he got a really bad rash although I don't know if it was because i was taking an antibiotic for mastitis or just the huggies that caused the rash..either way I decided to just use pampers and pamper sensitive wipes. I have also used the pampers with dry max and love them..ds had no reaction to them.

I think some of it might also had to deal with him only being 6 pounds but Pampers by far are the best. They seem to be able to hold a whole heck of a lot more as well.
I forgot to add that the Huggies left little absorbent crystal beads on my son's penis. Ive heard Huggies tend to work better for girls and Pampers for boys but obviously there are always exceptions. . We've also had luck with the Target brand if you're looking for something cheaper.
My son was having daily leaks with the huggies pure and naturals and huggies lil snugglers for about a week- not sure if it is because he is long and skinny and they seemed a bit big around his legs? We stopped using them and gave them away to a friend that has a newborn girl. Our favorite are the 7th generation ones but we also have the pampers sensitive swaddlers that work well too.
Pampers for sure. We were using those because that's what the hospital sent us home with, but switched over to Huggies when we ran out because we had a few samples. We used 3 total Huggies - he managed to pee through all 3 and poop through 1. We went back to Pampers Swaddlers, but now that A is is size 1, we decided to try the Target brand and they're just fine. And they're way cheaper - no coupon needed!
Re: Diaper Question
I use Pampers with Dry Max, with no problems! Huggies leaked for us.
I use Amazon Mom subscribe and save to get good deals on them.
DS pees right through Huggies.
