Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Are YOU dressing up for Halloween?

So, how many of you are dressing up for Halloween? I know some people do when they pass out candy or if you have a party to go to.
I have a party at work, and also have a party this coming Saturday, so I will be dressing up. As what? I have no clue...still looking!
How about you? If you are, what will you be?

Re: Are YOU dressing up for Halloween?

  • I'm not dressing up this year.  I usually only will if there's a party to go to, or when DD's old enough to TorT herself I'll dress up then.

  • I'm dressing up bc I'm going to a mom's group party tmw. DS is going to be a flying monkey, and so I'm wearing all black with a green skirt and will be a witch.

  • I have a Medusa costume I bought a few years ago for a party. I wore it to our neighbor's party last weekend, and will probably wear it to my mom's club party, I bought it because it is comfy (simple black dress w/ snake headpiece) and not super revealing or sexy like most of the adult costumes out there!
  • Nope.  DH and I usually have a party to go to, but so many of his friends have babies/little kids now, no one is having one.

We got married on October 7th (two years ago) and since Halloween was only a few weeks later, I dressed up as a bride in my dress, veil, etc. for the trick or treaters.  The little girls that came to my house loved it.  A few of them told me that I looked like a princess.  It was cute.

  • Yes, I will be a witch... as always!  But it is a new costume at least... we are going to a party Friday with clown boy.

  • Not for Halloween, but a party on Saturday.  DH and I are going as Dwight and Angela from The Office. Anyone know how to suspend a stapler in jello?

LOL! Oh wow! You will have to PIP later for us to see you two dressed up. That would be a riot! I looooove The Office.

  • Not dressing up.  What will I be you ask.. Freezing my a$$ off is what I'll be while taking DD trick or treating.  It's so cold here!

  • yep, we're dressing up!  DD is Tinker Bell, DH wanted to be a gangster ( and trust me, he is going all out!) and I'm a sexy fire girl  (I don't know about the "sexy" but its a cute costume!)
  • We had a small Halloween party last weekend... I was Pinocchio and DH was Gepetto.  As he says, it's the only time I've ever let him pull my strings.

I know!! I live in Columbus, too. It is NOT warm here one bit. BRRRRRR!

  • First, what a cute lobster!

Well, I'm going to put on a black dress, and my witches' hat and just hand out candy.

  • I've always considered dressing up in my wedding dress. I mean... who wants to only wear it once?  but i'm afraid of ruining it. Confused
  • DH and I have a party to go to this weekend. He is going as Napolean Dynamite and I am going as Deb. Anyone need a glamour shot, lol?
  • DD and I are going to a Halloween party at work. She is going to be a lamb and I am a farmer :)
  • Not this year... we have in the past. DH & I usually go to a HUGE Halloween party at the Mansions in RI .  Not this year : ( didn't make sense to go with me being pregnant and being DD 1st Halloween!

That said... I will be painting my Prego Belly a Jack O Lantern and wearing my halloween jammies while handing out candy.

  • Not this year. Time just got away from me.  I'm dressing Hayden up as a pumpkin, but that is it.  I love the Flintstone's idea.  Great family costume.
  • No - who has the time or energy or creativity at the end of the day to think of a costume.?
  • I have a party at work and I will be a skeleton.
