I've always heard that the Carter's stores in outlet malls are not really outlets- just the regular stores. That's why it doesn't say "Carter's Outlet" or "Carter's Factory Store" or whatever on it. The prices always seem to be the same as well.

Yep, ditto that. I once went to the Carters at Southpark Meadows and the Carters at San Marcos outlets on the same day ... no diff.
