I don't know anyone who has the Navigator, but I love the Shark products. My mom the pocket mop and we have the Vac'nSteam. They work great! The Vac'nSteam does not have rollers for carpet, so it wouldn't be a good fit for you if you have carpet or rugs. We have a separate, cheap vaccum for our rugs.
It works wonders with all of the dog hair that accumulates. It works alright on our area rugs, but it's not amazing, sometimes I have to apply a bit of pressure for it to pick up loose strings, etc. but overall, it's pretty awesom
I always rec mine because I love it. It's still going strong after 7+ years! We have all hardwood and tile and the suction is great. I also like that having the canister saves my back and allows me to vacuum tighter spaces.
