I broke down and bought one yesterday because I was going out to dinner with about 10 people and to a nice restaurant. I didn't think walking or sitting around with my pants unbuttoned after dinner was appropriate. So this seemed to be the best alternative.
It worked out well.
However, I've learned that the hiding of the open pants is not the only benefit.
I know you are all feeling the bloat. Well, if you pull the band up over your bloat, this tucks it in rather nicely and feels REALLY good.
It's not a tight tuck, just right.
Worth the $26 for that alone.

I bought mine on Amazon last night. 3 of them in different colors (black, khaki, denim) for $19.99
I've been wearing really stretchy tank tops under my close to help with the whole bloat thing they are the same sort of material as the belly band but they also help hold the pregnancy boobs in there place too which is nice. I've got 4 of them and live in them they are so comfortable.
I'm not a big fan of my belly band I've been ruberbanding my jeans and then pulling the tank top over the top of them like a belly band, the belly band rolls to much for me.
I do have to pull mine down often because I have a large behind. Always have.
I got it at Destination Maternity, they sell various maternity brands. I think mine is Pea in a Pod. I may have shopped around more but the store was right there.
I'm picking up a BellaBand brand today. I don't like the Motherhood Maternity one I picked up last weekend. It's O/S and doesn't stay in place all that well. I have a friend with a 1 year old who said the actual Bella Bands stay in place better than the knock offs. (Maybe because they're not O/S?)

Stupid question maybe...
but can people see the belly band on your jeans? I don't want people to see it b/c I'm not telling I'm pregnant yet.
So, this post made me start looking into belly bands and I found these on Amazon- they have pretty designs! I'm totally getting a few of these to wear under sweaters- they'll just look like cami's or something.
