Baby Shower yesterday

Yesterday my friends spoiled me and Baby Drew rotten! It was so much fun

Every single person I invited ended up coming. It was pretty neat to see all my "groups" of friends together in one house. I didn't realize how many teacher friends I have from all the times in my life, but out of 32 people there, 26 were teachers. There was a lot of "school" talk (my poor sister, the RN).

We didn't play any cheesy games which was wonderful. Everyone there wrote a wish/prayer for LO that we'll hang up in the nursery and later put in the baby book. Baby bingo was a perfect game (our only one) for the marathon of present-opening.

I opened so many presents it took two hours! Very little was purchased off the registry, but it was pretty clear that everyone knows my taste and what my DH loves. We got 17 outfits with either a plaid shirt or shorts

My favorite thing of the whole shower was having everyone together to talk and celebrate this baby!

So glad your shower went well! I also had a shower yesterday and it was great! Not only did I get a ton of stuff off my registry, someone put together a diaper raffle and sent me home with 15 packs of diapers!
