Ugh. I do NOT need this right now. Anyone have any good tips for staving this off/making it go away? I really don't want to take Sudefed if possible. Took a Benadryl but it isn't helping.

The best thing you can do is use a Neti Pot... I have crazy bad sinus issues and I use a Neti Pot everyday... and its amazing! Its sounds a bit weird... but it works amazing!

On normal days I use it once in the morning.... but when I am sick I use it twice... Its a bit strange when you first try it. You have to figure out what head position your is comfortable for your head and what temp of water is comfortable to you. Give it a few tries before you decide what you think. I have a ceramic one so I can put it in the dishwasher. If you can't tell I am a big fan of my Neti Pot. Good luck!

This. I use the sinus rinse made by the same company (Neil Med). I haven't tried the Neti Pot, but heard enough stories about it being hard to figure out the right angle, so I just went straight to the sinus rinse. It's the same product, it just has a different method of delivering it into your nose (it's a sort of squirt bottle). It also comes with microwave disinfecting directions, so you can clean it easily.
The temperature of the water is important. I go for lukewarm to warm. I usually fill it halfway up with cold and the rest of the way with hot, as that's easier than getting my faucet to stay on lukewarm. I also quickly nixed the idea of using only distilled water as that was a PITA. If your water is too cold or too hot, it hurts, so temperature does matter. GL!
