3rd Trimester
I love my mom....
I posted awhile ago that my mom was having to reschedule her visit from April to May because of DH's 2 weeks with the National Guard in May, and me needing her more during that time than when DD was brand-new. She was the most awesome support after DS was born, taking care of me so that I could take care of him, and I was really bummed at not having her around this time.
Well, she just called me and said "I really want to come in both April and in May. If you don't want me there one of those times, just be clear and tell me and that is alright." Of course, I tell her that I would love to have her here as often as humanly possible (she lives in Michigan, we're in Florida) and I just felt bad asking her to buy two sets of plane tickets, so she is coming for a week and a half around my due date, and then for another two weeks in May!! Wooohooo for retired grandma's!

Lurking from the 2nd trimester (not for much longer!)...
Parents are the best! My parents are retired. They are pulling their motorhome into our driveway for about a month. I am so excited! To top it - my mom is a 'baby' nurse - she has done it all, even a lactation nurse!
It will be really nice to have someone I trust say, "Okay, time to go." And my husband's work is seasonal and we happen to be delivering at prime season (he is a fisherman). So my parents will be here to help so he can go to work and then when they leave, his job should be calmed down and will have some time off. I am thinking I am the luckiest pregnant woman in the world!
