South shore hospital question

Anyone deliver at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth?? I'm wondering if they offer a 'stork dinner' or fancy dinner/champagne when you're there...I heard some hospitals do, but couldn't find anything on SSH.

    i am delivering at south shore - i went on the maternity tour and they didn't mention anything about that - i would say no

    They dont. But I was on hospital bedrest for over a month and the food is pretty darn good.

    My SIL was there for 9 weeks on bedrest and she said the food (and the staff) was the best.  They didn't have anything like what you mentioned when she delivered though.

    No special dinner, like you mentioned, but I will say for a hospital, the food is amazing -- people who work in the area will go to the hospital for lunch!  Whenever I go for the lactation clinic, I will stop by and get myself a grilled cheese and bacon sammich, which was also what I lived on when I was there for an extended stay after having my baby.

    Nope. The only hospital that I'm aware of that does it is St Elizabeth's.

    I delivered my daugter at SSH and I stayed for 5 days due to a csec.  I loved the food.  It was delicious and the menu the nurse would give you had many good choices everyday.

    I love this post!  My brother-in-law is the head chef, I can't wait to tell him the praise!  He comes up to my u/s and sits in the waiting room with me and everyone treats him like he is a rock star!  It is too funny!
