H and I are starting to think about the fact we're going to need to get this nursery started..at least have ideas ready. We rent, and will probably live here another year. The nursery is grey and has white shelves along the ceiling on 3/4 of the room. We can paint but would have to change it back when moving..so we're leaving the colors.
Baby's crib that we have picked out is a cinnamon-ish color. We don't know the sex yet, but for a boy we'd like something with royal blue. And girl.. pretty but not too over done girly.
What are your ideas to make this space feel like we made it ours?
Re: Creative minds come in-grey walls
We also rent and chose to paint 2 walls (a full wall behind the crib and a shorter window wall). We put up curtains and a valance that are pretty wide, so they make a statement on that wall and add the design/color. We're also doing a wall decal from etsy to customize, since it can be removed. And we're hanging the quilt from the bedding set over the changing table, bringing more of the design/colors in a 3ftx3ft size. We have 2 wall shelves and we're putting coordinating little statues of animals (to go with the bedding), picture frame and book.
ETA: I think you can find plenty of bedding that would incorporate the gray, for either girl or boy.

Gray walls are very "in" right now so you're in luck!

I've come across a lot more but can't find them right now. You might get more hits if you change your subject line to something about gray walls too.
Thanks.. I'm glad we have a good color
