We are torn:
Susannah- means lily (the flower)
Pearl- means gem
Katherine- means pure
I am leaning towards Katherine.

Our little girl's name is likely going to be Avanelle, named after my grandma. It doesn't really have a meaning, although there is a boy's name, Avenell, that means "Pasture of Oats". ha!
We're Team Green, so not sure what we're having. If it's a girl, we're going to stick with the tradition in my family of girls with "L" names, so it'll be Lila May (May is MILs middle name). For boys, we both like Jakob (not sure on middle name), but it's so popular right now I'm not sure we'll use it. We also like Isaac and Benjamin.
ETA: I'm such a goob: I don't know what any of the names mean, that doesn't really influence me. And malak is a beautiful name!

We are naming our son Dominic. It means "Lord." We picked it because it was the only name DH and I could agree on. LOL We both just liked it.

We are naming our daughter Isa which means "God's promise". But I actually just found that out because I looked it up lol! We actually are naming her after my mother whose name is Adalgisa (Dominican origin). My mother's nickname is Isa, hence the name of our daughter.

DH and I are naming our LO Owen. Different websites say different things but here are the two most consistent: It's Welsh and means born to nobility; It's Celtic and means young warrior.
Elizabeth Josephine. Its biblical and Elizabeth means God is my oath and Josephine means God will increase.
Its also a family name. My great-grandmother's name was Josephine Eliza.

We are naming our baby girl Zooey Lynn....I just looked it up and Zooey (which is a variation of Zoe) means life. My husband and I both love the name and this spelling so we knew right away she would be Zooey. Her middle name is after my cousin who I am very close with...her middle name is Lynn.

We are team green so we have boy names and girls names picked out. The boy name is Nolan Gregory. Nolan means "Descendant Of The Famous One" from one website I found. The girl names that we are choosing between are Charlotte and Audrey. Charlotte means "Free" and Audrey means "Noble Strength."
We chose our names more on the way is sounds and popularity compared to the meaning of the name.
