I am SO bummed about my GEN-Y cover!

It is cute and the binding is so soft, but the fit is very awkward. I already washed it before I put it on so I can't even return it to get credit. Is it just my LO or does anyone else have issues with the fit?

    I didn't like the fit of our Gen-Y covers until DD got bigger. Once she was bigger, I love them! What size is it? Maybe try again when she's chunked up some more?

    When I first got mine it was a little weird too because I was so used to the thirsties style covers. Where are you finding that it doesn't fit?

    She is probably about 11 pounds and her thighs are a little chuncky. The cover is very wide around the hip area and short within the rise. No matter what snap combo I do it slides off her waist, but stays around her thighs.

    Oh, that's a bummer.  It's so disappointing when something doesn't fit well.  Here's hoping that she'll grow into it or that you'll be able to sell it off to someone if you decide not to keep it.

    Yea. Total bummer. Well, I am probably going to sell it. It's up for grabs. If anyone is interested, I can take pics and decide on a price.

    yes our Gen Y covers fit a little off too.  They are super poofy and a very low rise so I NEVER reach for them.

    I am also not a fan of the fit of ours. We have a classic and universal and although I like the fit of the classic better, I agree that they are really wide/loose  around the hips and just super poofy (none of DD's pants fit over a prefold and gen-y cover) in general. I find that the top of the cover seems to have a weird rise and ends up caving into the space between DD's snappi'd prefold and her belly. Not to mention that it's not possible to just lay a trifolded prefold in the cover like we do with all other covers we own. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of ours is that the prints are seriously ridiculously cute!
