My latest BLW food obsession

Grilled sandwiches and mini ravioli...

Noah, can't really hold a sandwich together for as long as it takes him to eat it. So I have been grilling them...I don't want him to have to much cheese so yesterday I made him a grilled turkey sandwich with applesauce instead of cheese. The Batoli mini ravioli are a perfect size for him to pick up with or without sauce.

    Sounds like a pretty good meal I think I would happily eat it if I were in his shoes.

    Can I ask a stupid question.  How many teeth did your little guy have when you started doing stuff like grilled cheese?  Also at about what age did you start stuff like ravioli and grilled cheese?  I ask because my DD is almost 10 months has two bottom front teeth and while we have done some solids like fruit chunks, bits of bread and tofu cubes she hates anything with meat and still seems to gag on most everything else.

    I'm not OP, but my LO just got his 2 bottom teeth and has been eating stuff like this before he got them!  It is crazy what they can do with  those gums. Gagging is apart of learning, I would not worry about it to much. Ijust cut things in hunks.

    Great idea with the applesauce op!!!

    He has 4 teeth but has been eating grilled cheese for a while even when he had only two teeth. I don't use much cheese. The ravioli I only discovered in the last month or so

    DD has no teeth and has been eating grilled cheese since about 7 months.  Tonight she had a spinach, cheese, and hummus quesadilla and tore through it!
