It took me just over a week, working on it when Ella was napping last Saturday, and then little bits every evening after she had gone to bed.

I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl tomorrow when we visit Biltmore!

I got the fabric for the reverse, canvas for the middle, and straps plus natural batting for the strap padding, fabric pencils to mark where I needed to sew for around $30. I have plenty left over to make more.

The patterned fabric I got as part of a lot, but it was about $5 and again, I have plenty left over to make more.

Love it! I am very very jealous! I've been wanting a padded waist mei tai, but my pp tree doesn't want to grow anymore! This is gorgeous, I really wish I had the talent to do that. I envy you Glasgow
