My Grandpa Passed away today :(

Hes been sick for a long time, but this has been the first death in my family since I can remember, so it has hit me really hard. I really wish I didnt have these crazy hormones making it worse. It just makes me really sad that he was so close to meeting his great grandchild, but his time came a little too early. I'm happy that he is no longer suffering through his disease, but I dont know how to get over him not being here anymore.

I'm so sorry. My grandmother passed away a year ago today. Its hard. I don't know if you believe in heaven or the afterlife or whatever but I truly believe we never lose those we love. I'll be thinking of you and your family at this time.

i know what you're going through...my grandfather passed away Jan 29th at 89. he would have been 90 on Feb 7th. This is also the first death in my family that i've had to experience and although it is difficult, it will get better. keep your head up. know that although your grandfather didn't get to meet him physically, he will definitely meet him in spirit!
