feeling alone

Re: feeling alone

  • I used to live in irving a couple years ago. I always felt alone there too. Now I live close to the Bishop Arts District which is probably about 15-20 mins from Irving.

  • really i never heard bishop

  • I'm sorry you're feeling alone. I felt very isolated last winter. Being new to Dallas and it was such a cold winter. I didn't want to get out fearing that DS would get sick all the time. I was miserable but once I started getting out I got past it very quickly. Unless you don't have a car you shouldn't limit yourself just to finding moms in your immediate area. There are moms groups all over. Find one where you have a common interest and you will likely feel like a whole new person. Try looking on meetup.com or a try one of the early childhood PTA groups near you.
  • Yes...I love it!!! People are so friendly. There are a lot of locally owed boutique, shops and places to eat. <3

https://www.bishopartsdistrict.com and you can find them on facebook too.

Like I said its close to Irving....not too far :)

    My favs in the district:

Zola's - vintage store, The Cozy Cottage Children's Boutique - I have my regisitry there, Make - fun local designer stuff and sewing/craft classes, and to eat Hunky's has the best burgers, Eno's pizza rocks, and El Jordan has the best breakfast tacos ever. oh Yeah and Zen has half-price sushi on Monday nights ( cali rolls are ok during pg)

If you ever come down when i"m off of bedrest .... would love to show you around.
