1st Trimester

Outed by a 3 year old

We were at a birthday party for a little girl turning 3 today.  She is my daughters BFF.  Her mom came up to me and offered congratulations and wanted to know if it really was going to be a boy.

LOL!  My daughter told her BFF that she was going to have a little brother.  So she went home and told her mom.  What a funny way to have pregnancy news revealed.

  • Aww!  That's pretty cute! She must be excited!

Last  night at dinner DD said,"Mama is pregnant!"  We haven't told her but she's heard us talk.

  • All of our family is in Oregon (we're in Washington) so thankfully we have a lot of control over who knows and who doesn't. However, the day after our BFP, my DD told the bus driver (a sweet lady who we know well), "My mommy have a baby in her tummy!" She's so proud. The bus driver is the only one outside of my hubby, daughter and me who knows.

  • Your girl is adorable Smile

My just turned four year old son outed me at the gym.  I dropped him off at the daycare & he marched up to the lady in charge & announced loudly "My mama has a baby in her tummy"!    They can keep nothing quiet at this age!

  • That's so cute.  She is probably so excited.

My son who is almost 4 tells everyone.  I'm talking people at the grocery store or anyone that will listen.  I didn't think he would be so excited for a baby brother or sister considering he already has a little brother!

Every time I've come home from the doctor, he gets disappointed that I didn't bring the baby home with me.  He keeps asking what is taking so long.

  • Your daughter is adorable.  We're waiting to tell DD for a number of weeks because we have no doubt she'll spill the beans before we're ready.
