I have started to notice that after my DD wets her diaper, it smells. It's almost barnyard like. (gross, I know, sorry). However, when I take them out of the washer/dryer there isnot smell at all.  This is my washing routine: cold rinse if its a very messy load, hot wash, cold rinse (sometimes x2). I use 1 tbsp of RNG and I have a HE front loader.  Help!

    Sounds like you have the ammonia stink. We just delt with this. So I soaked my diapers overnight in rockin' green detergent. Did a wash (without soap) and dried. Then soaked them in the ammonia bouncer by RNG. We are stink free now.

    Now to prevent we do:

    Cold rinse and spin

    Cold rinse (no spin) with 2 towels inside

    Hot wash with 1 extra spin. I always add extra water too.
