She learned to crawl a couple days ago and since hasn't slowed down at all and this morning she rolled/crawled right off the edge of the bed on DH side.
She wasn't hurt it just scared her, but I'm not sure what to do now.
DH works nights so he's usually not in bed with us and his side is open, he doesn't want a rail on his side. I have a rail on my side, but with his side open it seems pointless. She starts between me and the rail but we switch sides to nurse and I've tried to stay awake and roll her back over, but I can't lol. I've heard of people nursing on both breasts without rolling over, but I have virtually no boobs so this isn't an option ![]()
I'm thinking about doing a floor bed but DH is handicapped and it would make it really hard for him to get in and out... He said he was fine with it, but I'm wondering if we have another option...
TIA
Re: Bedsharing help, jamie fell off the bed this morning...
Thats what we have... Although I did remember my other reason for deciding against the rail... She is pulling up on mine and it's short enough that when she pulls up if I'm not holding onto her she would fall over it
She needs to slow down!
If she only woke once then yeah that would work perfectly, but she usually wakes 3-4 times a night (every 2-3 hrs)
I'm thinking a floor bed is our best choice
Thanks everyone for the suggestions though!
