AW: I got SLEEP

DD is 2 months old now, so obviously I haven't slept in 2 months. I also didn't sleep through all of my pregnancy due to restless legs and pelvic pain. It's been a year since I had really good sleep.

So last night DH was on full kids duty while I took an Ambien and climbed into bed. 12 hours of uninterrupted, non-fitful sleep. I feel amazing. I hope to do this once a week from now on.

    12 hours sounds like heaven.  I'm not sure my boobs would let me sleep that long, but it would be worth trying :P  Congrats on being rested!

    That sounds glorious. My boobs wont let me go more then 5 hours. I have a cold so my husband did all the feedings last night/this am with pumped milk so I can get more sleep but I had to wake up at 4am to pump ugh.

    Yeah, I don't have to worry about my boobs, luckily. 

    And DH is awesome. I SAH and after dinner every night he urges me to take time to myself - take a bath or watch tv upstairs or read, whatever. Really the only thing he doesn't do is wash and stuff the diapers, but I'm sure he would if I didn't always do it first. He actually kept DD downstairs all night last night because he didn't want her to wake me up.

    I am so jealous! My DH will actually make sure that LO is right by the door in her swing crying to make me wake up after a hour or two of watching her and then he gets pised off that he had to watch her for 2 hours while I TRY to get sleep! How sorry is that! I wish your DH was my DH right now because I am going to knock mine out soon!
