Do you find that there is a point where you can turn the swinging motion off and baby will not wake up?
A couple times she fell asleep in there with me just gently rocking it, then I stopped, and she stayed asleep. Took much longer than just turning the swing on though.
I am just looking down the road at the need to transition from swing to crib... motion vs no motion.
Note- she sleeps like a rockstar at night in her bassinet. This swing situation has just become the easiest thing to do with a 2 year old running arounnd as well.
Re: Swing nappers come in
our LO takes all her day time naps in her swing. and sleeps in her Rock n Play at night with no problem. we were worried about the crib transition as well, but she made the transition to night in the no motion rock n play with no problem.
when the swing stops, sometimes her blanket hits the ground causing it, or if we stop it when the nap has been quite long, as we know she should eat...or we will have a hungry grouch at night
....she usually starts squirming and definitely isn't in as deep of a sleep
