Please help calm me down

I think my water may be breaking. I was sitting with my mom and noticed my seat was wet. I went to the bathroom and made sure to pee, change, etc. A minute later, there was more leaking and lots of pressure.

I called L&D and they told me to wear a pad and see if anything catches on there and to also do some kick counts. (She hasn't moved since I woke up, so I'm going to eat something and see what happens.)

I am a little freaked out. I have nothing prepared as far as a bag goes, so I might want to get on the ball as far as that is concerned. I know that if she came now, she would be ok, it still scares me.

Take a deep breath. Eat some breakfast and put your feet up so you can concentrate on feeling baby. Have your mom pack your bag (just in case) and go from there.

Whoa- but like you said, if she comes now, she'll be alright. Do what the dr said, have your mom get some stuff together just in case, and take it easy for a bit. I hope you just peed yourself, but good luck if it's the main event a few weeks early!

Thanks for the thoughts ladies. My bag is packed for me courtesy of Momma. I'm still leaking a little bit and started having some back pains and cramps. I also haven't felt her move since eating, so we'll be going into the hospital in a little bit.

(FWIW, when my water broke with DD it was a semi-large gush followed by a slow "leak" after that. At L&D they can test the liquid to determine what it is--which I'm sure you probably already know.)
