Has anyone seen 'The Last Song'?

NOT a Miley Cyrus fan at all, but we are getting Starz free for a couple days.  I saw it was on and decided to tune in.  I was in a chick flick kinda mood.  

I missed about twenty minutes towards the end though.  My question is if/how it came out that her dad wasn't responsible for burning down the chuch?  I assume that the truth came out (what was the truth??) and that whatever that was about is why she pushed Will away?  

I tuned back in just as she was finishing writing her dad's song and he passed away.  When her mom came for the funeral, she told her mom that she pushes everyone away.  That's what she did to Will.  Apparently I missed a crucial twenty minutes.

    OH!! ...and maybe I should mention that a tear jerker is a tear jearker, is a tear jerker.  BUT! A tear jerker with all sorts of crazy pregnancy hormones and emotions?  Now that's another story!  Serious with how much I cried??  Over a Miley Cyrus movie?? Pa-lease!!

    turn's out the boy (I can't remember his name) did it with his friends and the dad was in the church praying at the time so they blamed him.  The boy and his friends confess.

    I haven't seen the movie, but it was filmed not far from me and they wanted my center's help with the sea turtle scenes. That nonsense was enough for me to not want to see it.

    Can you believe that they actually thought we could just set up a scene and "call" the wild turtles in from the ocean to nest? LOL That's just one of the shenanigans.

    PP all ready answered the question but I wanted to add that I cried like a baby at the end of that movie! I read the book first too (cried like a baby at that as well) so I even knew what was coming! haha

    I haven't seen the movie, but read the book last summer.  As pp said, cried...cried..cried throughout it.  Do you recommend seeing the movie?
