Where does the time go...and 2 month stats

Zachary had his 2 month appt yesterday and he is a whopping 12lb 4oz (75%) and 23 1/4 inches long (50%).  Definitely bigger than his sister who has been riding the 10% curve since birth. 

Overall a decent appointment - no surprises.  Zachary is going to be evaluated by a Physical Therapist b/c his neck / head favors his left side.  Dr thinks b/c he was breech for so long he was just too cramped and has a stiff neck.  Also - because he favors this side he's developing a flat spot.  DH / I are working with him at home, but so far it hasn't helped too much.  Eh - nothing that can't be fixed - but I never thought I'd be taking my 2 month old to Physical Therapy!

    Oh I should also add that I only have 2 weeks of maternity leave left - so I'll be able to be on the boards a lot more when I return to work Stick out tongue

    I had to take my son to PT. He had torticolis, which basically sounds like what you've described, due to being so big in a small spot for so long. PT was no big deal and it worked wonders. I'm full of knowledge on this subject if you ever have any ???

    We have to do PT for one of our girls for the same reason!  We just went for their 2 month visit and Raegan has been favoring her right side and the Dr said it was from being so low in the birth canal for so long.  I have been trying to work with her at home too.  We prop pillows beside her head to try to get her to look the other way, but she always lets them fall down!  Hopefully PT will help :)
