Photog Mamas - Justine, Keren, Stacy etc.
Who else? I can't remember - I think one of the mama's of twins? Would any of you be willing to help me with some photography business type questions? I'm getting nothing from my camera club and the Photog board doesn't let you post business related anything. I don't want to go into business but could use some guidance on business related asks of friends and how to best handle those requests so if you'd be generous enough to offer your help I would really appreicate it. If you are into photography and want to chat about stuff that can't be discussed on the bump, then you should join over there. You have to have a referral though, so just tell them I sent you (Care). I know Keri, Christie and Robyn are over there from this board, so you could ask them for a referral as well.

Not to hijack this thread but I have a Q for photog ladies-
I got a Living Social deal for a photographer back in Oct- specifically for Gracie's newborn shots.
It's for a 45 minute photo shoot plus $250 worth of prints. I know $250 might not be much but it's all we can afford right now (the LS deal).
The photog was insisting on meeting me before she comes to my home for the shoot. I think she wants to upsale me. She wants me to come to her studio next Wednesday and I really don't want to leave my house at all. Already have two MD appts next week. *Whine*
Is it customary to meet with a client before you take the pics? I just want a few awesome shots of Gracie and I'll be happy. Yes, I'd LOVE more, many many more pics but I can't afford it right now.
