me? Double-sheeting the bed. Bean's crib mattress is: mattress-pad-sheet-pad-sheet. It's saved our
@sses more than once. Tummy bug blowouts are no fun, but not having to strip AND re-sheet the bed make them a bit easier.

Re: What's the most useful thing you've learned on TB?
I think it's a SIDS risk if the bed is softer & the pads are thick. We got thin pads (mostly to just be used as waterproof barriers) and a superfirm mattress.
The handout that the hospital gave us regarding carseats and the law about RF and FF was wrong. It had the wrong law listed for my state. When I posted something on here about Michigan law, a fellow Bumpie told me that it wasn't correct and pointed me to the website with the law on it.
It seems like a silly thing, but I trusted that the paper given to me at the hospital was correct. It never occured to me to double check.
So, that was useful.
ETA: I don't know how I didn't think of this, but the FP Rock & Play saved my sanity and my marriage when Dylan had AR. I learned about that here, too.

What "silent reflux" was. My pedi was at a loss and was going to send us to a specialist. I asked if it could be silent reflux and if we could just *try* Zantac to see if the coughing stopped. My poor baby wasn't sleeping, she was drinking milk all the time and I was so worried about her.
Three days of Zantac had it under control.
I know not all cases are that easy, but TB saved me weeks and months of doctor's visits.
This!
I learned about Sophie, the seahorse, the bumbo, tummy time, sciatics, what a mucus plug was, what a bloody show was, how to use google quickly to find images, I have learned to use words such as asshat & cuntnugget in normal conversation...
Not to encourage the AE, but I agree with this.
We used the Ultimate Crib Sheet, but by the time she was sleeping in her crib, she wasn't spitting up anymore. And she stopped pooping at night a looooong time ago. However, if we didn't have to move when she was 3.5 months old, we would have set up the crib sooner and it would have really come in handy.

I use "asshat" quite frequently now. Also, "douchenozzle"
Ohhhh yes, LOVE BLW. I definitely would never have done that without TB.
Funny, we just utilized the doublesheeting two days ago! Bean had a runny sick blowout that got on the sheet & soaked thru to the pad...
As I 9 month EPer, when I learned that I didn't have to dismantle my pump parts and wash them 6 times a day and could just put them in the fridge, my life suddenly changed!
ETA: I probably would have FF E when I put her in the convertible seat had I not been on TB.
Oooohhh I like it. Going to use it from now on.
I also learned about BLW from here and it has been awesome.
