I got the graco snugride 35 with the snap in stroller... I mainly picked this one because of the recommendations and the baby bargains book review. I like it but find it a little large and heavy.
We have the Graco snugride. She can't stay in it as long but I believe it's the lightest one out there. I would stick with infant since a convertible sits so much more upright. It tends to make young babies heads flop around.

This! It doesnt have the ergonomic (sp?) handle so it makes it awkward to carry, and especially to put in the backseat of a two door. Im also pretty short,so it feels very very bulky. BD has the graco snugride, and its so much smaller for some reason.

I have a Graco Snugride 35 in Logan. (Very cute, it's houndstooth print with green trim.) I LOVE it. It'll fit my daughter until she's older (The Graco my other daughter had and the Eddie Bauer my son had only fit them til they were 7-8 months) and we have a van so space in the car isn't a problem. But it fits in our Kia Optima too, so I can imagine that in order for it to not fit a car it must be pretty dang small...
Love my Chicco Keyfit 30. It is so easy to carry and the newborn insert makes it so LO is nice and snug. Not sure about Graco's latch connectors, but the Chicco ones are so easy. Just snap them in and pull the strap to tighten. IMO it's the best infant seat out there.

We like ours too. Very easy.
