any BF moms getting headaches?

I have been pumping mostly as my girls are getting the hang of BF.  (they were in the NICU for 2 weeks and mostly bottle fed so they are still working on BF.)  For about the last week I have had a pretty chronic headache, which started out pretty manageable, but has been getting worse and worse.  Tonight I got attacked by sharp cluster ice pick like headaches and almost packed up the girls and went to the ER.  I've been monitoring my BP, and it is fine.  I was blaming it on stress, but I started wondering when I kind of noticed a pattern.  My headaches get worse after I pump....Has anyone else experienced anything like this??  and if so is there anything I can/should do about it???  TIA

    a. your girls are beautiful.

    b. i'm noticing this if i dont drink literally a ton of water all day long. at least 2-3 liters if not more.

    I've been getting headaches also and I only pump right now. But I think it's just due to the lack of sleep really.

    I also have the same thing if I don't drink a TON of water during the day. Hope you get some relief soon!

    I would get headaches during pregnancy and after while BF'ing and it is always because I didnt drink enough water that day.  Once I get hydrated and stay there, they go away.  My Dr. told me to drink up and it worked.

    Your girls are beautiful!

    I do get head aches just about every day, but I think it's from lack of sleep. I usually get them in the afternoon, so coffee withdrawal might play a role in it too ;)
