So today was the second annual appointment that I've asked about an IUD. Both times I've been steered back towards bcp. They just change the brand of pill and say call if I have any issues (it gives me migraines, already an issue). So my question is, do drs have some type of contract or agreement with these pharm companies to perscribe x amount of prescriptions? I don't mean to sound all conspiracy theory but I have to wonder why I'm not a good candidate for an IUD. I'm not planning on getting KU for at least a couple of years and I've had a long history of bcp migraines.
Re: OBGYN employees, pls come in
That's infuriating. Did you straight up ask them why they were steering you away from an IUD? Especially if you've had problems with them in the past, that seems a bit idiotic - and if there's a reason you're a poor candidate, they should tell you why.
I'd be calling in the morning.
bwahaha that's awesome. :-P
eta: wait? why didn't it bold? why are there html tags? stupid bump.
You know me. +6k
LMAO!!
And that sucks - I agree with ETS call back and question it specifically.
