I can only put my LO in my sleepy wrap when he's already asleep, or he screams bloody murder. I also have a beco gemini that he screams in too. When I am wearing him (asleep) he starts crying as soon as he wakes up. I'm so sad, I pictured myself babywearing all the time.
Did anyone else have this problem?? Maybe I didn't wear him enough when he was a newborn? It's freezing cold here all the time (northern Ontario) so I haven't been able to wear him out at all, just around the house. I do hold him in my arms most of the day. Any advice??
Re: help! LO hates being worn :(
My DD will only tolerate being worn around the house if I am constantly moving, or if she is ready for a nap.
What carry are you using? Since you said he does like to be held, maybe a hip carry would be more to his liking?
Can you get him bundled up, hat, coat, mittens etc and go for a short walk?
I just do the basic upright hold ("hug hold" if it were a moby.) He likes to be held upright usually. I think he's too little for a hip carry? He doesn't have full head control yet.
I don't know about going for a walk... it's usually -30C here with the windchill (-22F). Even taking him out of his car seat to go into a store seems challenging in this weather. I can't wait until spring! I'll try taking him for a walk the next nice-ish day we have. We've only been for one all winter, and that was with the stroller.

Hmmm, he probably is too young for a hip carry - sorry, I didn't check your siggy!
I know how stir crazy I got this winter, and we're in Tennessee - I hope you can escape out soon!!
