Just found out i'm ku. The bump is saying my edd is 10/30. My bff since 2nd grade is getting married on 11/5. wwyd?

    i keep trying to edit this but its not working out...im supposed to be the maid of homor and with only a 6 day gap between my edd and the wedding, there is a very good chance i will be in labor or in the hospital durring this time.

    Or you could have your Dr induce you a month early so your baby doesn't interfere with your social schedule...

    lol. My SIL had her son via c-section 7 days before our wedding which was in another state and she still was in our wedding. But if I were you, I wouldn't guarantee your attendance.

    Hah! I have the same issue - but I am due Oct 23 and my brothers wedding (which I am a bridesmaid) is on October 8th. Her only request after we got married and they got engaged was that I was not ready to pop the day of her wedding. Whoops! Somethings you can't plan :) We are waiting til after our first u/s to tell them, and I am going to give her the option to replace me - cause that can be a stressful situation for the bride! And, what the heck size of bridesmaid dress would I get!

    Tough situation- sorry!

    I would wait until your first appt until making any decisions. Your EDD could differ once you see the dr.

    Have you spoken with your friend yet? If she's really a true friend, she's going to understand that your obvious priority is your child and not her wedding. If I were you I would step down as maid of honor and maybe just attend as a guest, if you aren't in labor. You can still be involved in her wedding, helping her with the dress and details, but it would be crazy for her to expect you to be there to be her right hand a week after giving birth.
