So, My follistim, ovidrel, and the rest of the fun stuff came right ontime. I start my first injection this evening...

I was not nervous till now... Terrifed to give myself a shot!

oh my goodness, I am nervous. lol...

Should I have my hubby do it? ice it? does it hurt? Fast or slow poke?

Started trying on Honeymoon
2009/2009 4 failed clomid cycles, many BFN, PCOS Study
4/2010 5 rounds of femara resulted in BFP!
6/2010 Lost our little poppy.
7/2010 DX: MTHFR C677t/C677t
2/23/2011 Starting first IUI cycle. Follistim and ovidrel. Fingers crossed...
First IUI=BFN Second IUI=BFN
9/2011: IUI 3,4,5,6 BFN
1/2012 New year New plan... First consult for IVF.
4/3/2012 First day of our 1st IVF cycle..
5/16 ER 14R 6M 5F (25+ empty follicles)
5/19 ET 3dt of 2 grade A 8 cell embabies!!! Stick baby stick
8dp3dt BFP! Beta#1 12dp3dt 136, #2 14dpt 336, #3 16dpt 845
6/19/2012 7w HB 131!!! 6/27/2012 8w HB 173
Baby Delaney is scheduled to be induced Jan 30, 2013!!

    oh, and for a good laugh check my blog later. I plan to video tape this. And im pretty sure that it will be nothing short of humorous!

    I always just pinched the skin and poked.. Didn't even give myself time to think about it.. Just did it quick, and got it over with!

    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    Eeek! I'm terrified of giving myself shots too, I haven't started injections but so far I've had to call my bff over at 10pm to do both of my HCG shots, dh and I are both wusses.  If I ever do IVF I don't know how we will deal with the shots... GOOD LUCK!

    Here's what I do: ice it, then MH does the I injection. Fast poke, slow will just make it hurt more. Don't be nervous! The anticipation was the worst part. You'll be a pro before you know it.

    I'm a freak when it comes to needles and have tried all SORTS of coping mechanisms for getting through basic stuff like the flu shot...my best is to put on one of those goofy sleep masks so I don't see when DH gives me the shot, have him talk to me during it, mark the spot, repeat something happy to yourself ("I can do this.  I can do this."), and ice the heck out of it (no, I don't trust the hubby not to miss the marked spot).  If I did one at home, you can probably do 1,000 with no problems...good luck!

    IVF #1 in July/August 2011 = BFP!!!!!

    Yay for it coming on time! No worries the shots aren't that bad. I do them on my own, I do ice, and I go slow. Good luck!

    Ok, im going to do it... no video today, I have had the flu all day and just dont have any energy to actually look presentable for a video... next time...
