So I already felt HUGE this morning when I was trying to bend over and clean house.
THEN I go and look at the FFFC surveys that everyone posted!!
I've gained 21 lbs now =/ and I highly doubt that all that weight is in my tummy...?
How is it that everyone is only gaining 5 or 10 pounds??
Anyone else feeling huge??Is the bump starting to get in the way of everyday activities yet?
Re: Officially feeling huge...
I feel huge but I'm all baby... Ive gained a total of 8 pounds during my pregnancy and im entering the third trimester - the drs. say that all the pounds will pack on now but im praying it doesnt because I already feel like a moose!
Uggghhhhhhhh
I'm the same way! I started out being a size 0 as well so these numbers on the scale seem RIDICULOUS to me!! =/
I try not to look when the doctor weighs me now....but it's just so hard!! lol?
And I can't STAND it when people say "You're not even that big yet!"
Because to me...my stomach is HUGE. If someone tells me that I'm "not that big"...then that makes me think maybe all the weight ISN'T in my belly; it's just ~everywhere~ else. =/
I get this too! I hate it because I can't imagine getting much bigger than I am!
I'm nearly 6 feet tall but I've gained 25 pounds! I hope I can keep it under 35 total!

I am huge too. I've gained 20 pounds and my boobs are enormous (new bra purchased today is a 36DD). And I've always been a thin girl, so I have to admit that I catch glimpses of myself and cringe a little.
If it makes you feel better, I only gained about 5 pounds in the 3rd tri last time (granted I delivered at 36 weeks but still). You may be like that and the gain may taper off in the final tri - everyone gains differently.
I've definitely had those days. I've gained probably almost 25 already and Hate seeing others only having gained 10. Its taken my brain a long time to adjust to it, and there are days where I still haven't. But, doctor isn't worried, so I know I shouldn't be. And it's for baby's benefit, I can lose it after, but can't go back if something is wrong when he's born and it's because I didn't eat properly. You are not alone, and just cross your fingers with me that the weight gain will taper off towards the end.
I also tell myself less chance of stretch marks now, since I got bigger earlier and won't have that giant pop that some women get at the end of third tri. It may be crap but I still tell it to myself and it sort of helps.
Some people like me Courtney are plus sized it is recommended that we do gain less, and i have experienced just that like my friend did we just aren't gaining alot infact i've lost more than i've gained.
It's so true that every pregnancy is different in my opinion!
I am def feeling huge compared to my 1st Pregnancy with DS, @ 27 weeks i look full term. I find the bumpie isnt getting in way but as i get bigger my back hurts more doing chores , and im more tired
I wish my boobs were that little. Mine were 36DDD to start, now I'm a 38H! They don't even look that big because my belly sticks out so much. I hope I don't get much bigger
You know what... I've gained 20 lbs too and I am darn proud of it!! I think we all should be!
I'm 5'4", started at 125 lbs and I'm up to 145 lbs. I've always been fairly small. Although my belly is definitely getting in the way, I know that the 20 lbs I've put on is healthy for me and the baby. I've tried to eat well, but don't keep myself from indulging here and there.
We are growing tiny human beings here. That requires a healthy dose of extra padding. Although it makes for uncomfortable sleeping, walking and moving around in general, I wear my weight proudly
I feel so huge because my boobs have become ginormous along with my belly so I look super top heavy. I think I have gained 30 pounds, but my doctor has not said anything negative about my weight at my appointments so I am not too worried. Luckily my weight gain hasn't seemed to spread to my thighs and butt yet.
Tying my shoes has become very challenging the past two weeks. Doing laundry also sucks since I have to lug the basket and soap out to our complex's laundry facility and DH insists on buying the largest bottle of detergent possible. I think he needs to take over doing my laundry from now on.
