I will be going to a friend's house in Mill Creek for a luncheon on Sunday. My parents who will be watching Sammy, live in Skagit County, but will drive down to Mill Creek to me. They were wondering if there is anything fun and exciting for a 10 month old in the area? They will only have probably 3 hours or so, and they aren't really mall-play-area types. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Re: Mill Creek ladies - ?
I like to take Jackson to Willis D. Tucker park, which is located on the "outskirts" of Mill Creek. I just bundle him up and let him run free. It's a big park, but there are lots of things for your little one to explore.
Another fun thing to do would be to just walk around Mill Creek Town Center. There aren't a ton of "child activities" per se, but they could always go into the Ceramic place and make something fun for mommy - and then to to the UW Bookstore to read and then have lunch at Boston's.
Isn't it supposed to snow again Saturday night? Outside parks might not be the best....
What about Country Village? If it *is* decent outside they could go there and feed the ducks?
Country Village is fun, they have an awesome toy store too!
Spotted Cow in the town center has ice cream and a little indoor play area
There are also trails and stuff and places to feed the ducks if you bundle up behind the town center
The library is across the street too!
