Something I never thought I'd do...

Tonight I spent 10 minutes in the boys' section of Kohl's trying to find the right size and right style of boys' underwear.  Conner's mom usually buys that stuff but I wanted to get him pants and Chris said he needed underwear. 

So, there I was making sure I got size SEVEN and making sure I got the BRIEFS ... not boxer briefs, which Kohl's seemed to have in spades.  Who knew my seven year old stepson was picky about his underwear?

It was a stepmom milestone!

    Priceless!  All boys are particular about their undies BTW.  DS makes me nuts with it.  He even has to have a certain kind of waistband. Milestone indeed!  And one worth bragging about IMO.

    Im betting no on the characters.  If they are in school, they DO NOT want to be seen in Barney undies in the "men's room"  LOL.  DS was ready to burn his cartoon underwear by age 5!  Enjoy it while it lasts.

    Ha. I bought two different packages because I wasn't sure! One package is camouflage.  I thought those were cool and so did Conner when I showed them to him.  The other package contained plain ol' tightie whities, just like his Dad wears.  Snooze.  But....he seemed cool with them.

    He just came in trying on the new pants I got him and he digs them.  Stepmom Katie did well today!

    To cute!!! Go Katie!!! You get brownie points. haha My son is 6 1/2 and still wears character undies, but he is picky about them. They have to be boxer briefs. But who knows, maybe the next time we get them he wont want the characters. =)
