usually a lurker but figured you gals could give me some insight...
My DS is about 2 months old and usually STTN, waking around 5 or 6am to feed, and then back to sleep until about 9. He fusses, though, so much after his feeding that I can't leave him in his crib, so I put him in bed with DH and myself. (He is sleepy, just wants to be held to sleep) It was never my intention to bed share, (nothing against anyone who does, I was just never comfortable with it for us) but it looks like that's what we are going to be doing, at least for part of the night, anyway. Anything I should know/do to be safe about bed sharing?
Re: skeptical bed sharer, please help
I was afraid in the beginning too, and I had a horrible doctor that told me I would kill my baby if I slept with her (no longer my pedi). After struggling and being exhausted, I finally found out how wonderful and restful co-sleeping is.

Little Rose is 2 1/2.
We bought an arm's reach co-sleeper for DS since I was nursing and didn't want to have to get out of bed to get him, but I wasn't able to sleep well with him in bed with us. I kept waking up and felt like I couldn't fully fall asleep in fear something would happen. After he got a little older, we were able to actually co-sleep and I kept the co-sleeper set up and it was more of a guard in case he rolled that way.
