Infertility

Where is time going....

I started to TTC at 33, and now i'm 35.  But i feel like that flew by in a minute of heartaches... (even though the 2ww feels like 10 yrs).

Tomorrow, I'm going to the 40th bday party of a good friend.  He was one of my "single days" partners in crime.  I can't believe he's not 30 anymore!

It's not that i worry about getting older...but it's like I blink and time flies.  I also feel like IF "grew me up" really fast.

No point to this post...just thinking out loud.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

  • I totally know what you mean.  We started TTC @ 32 and now I'm almost 35.  It's flown by, but seems like it crawls at the same time, as it doesn't seem like we are getting anywhere, but there's no going back to the carefree days of the past.  It's like an "I'm getting older with none of the benefits" purgatory.  Sigh...

  • ((hugs)) I feel like the time we have been trying has flown by, even though it's been almost 8 years. I can't really think of anything I have done in that time except dr's and treatments.

I agree with Worms. Seems like the time has flown by, but IF has lasted forever. I want to one day look back and think it wasn't really a long time, but I am not sure sure.

We started trying when I was 29 and I will be 33 this year:<

I couldn't agree more!  Time only flies when you're having fun and there's nothing fun about all this IF junk.  So, of course, those parts of our lives seem drag on forever.  Ugh.

  • I totally know how you feel.  Just tonight DH asked me when exactly did we start...thought about it and realized right before my 30th birthday and 35 is right around the corner.  Ugggh
