non-pg related... bday gift for a pg girlfriend?

It's my good friend's bday coming up, and I'm stumped for a gift idea for her.  Has anyone given a gift recently that's really hit it out of the park?  Or have any good ideas to share?  

I was playing with the idea of getting her a gift cert. to a salon so she could have a mani/pedi (a little self-pampering), but I'm not set on it.

    That was what I was going to suggest, a massage gift certificate, etc.  Does she live near you?  You could make it a day for the 2 of you and treat her to a spa appointment and then lunch after.  In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a spa/salon gift certificate!

    Ditto...esp when it's for a pregnant lady ! Or, what about a g.c. for a prenatal massage?

    Before I opened this post, I immediately thought mani/pedi and a ladies lunch. Maybe indulge a craving or two together with no guilt! Pregnant or not those are my all time favorite gifts...a little girl time with a little pampering and I am a new woman! If your friend likes pedis she will appreciate your thoughtfulness, especially if she is further along that us (I assume she is). She may need a little something for just her :)Good luck.
