OB/GYN recommendation for Memphis area

Anyone have an ob/gyn recommendation for the Memphis area. We moved here in August from another state and I haven't found new doctors. I found out I'm pregnant and so it's jumped the search up a bit. I've gone to a confirmation appointment already with one group practice but I didn't really like the doctor I saw. I'm hoping to get some recommendations since we haven't told anyone here yet so I can't ask people I work with.

 TIA

  • Mestemacher Clinic for Women in Germantown is great. Very friendly staff and doctor. There is an ultrasound tech on staff so you get a dating ultrasound at your first appointment, NT scan at 12 weeks (if you want one), anatomy scan around 18 weeks and a free 3 d scan at 28 weeks all included. She is on call with another small practice Dr. Miller who is also great and delievered my first child.
  • I use Dr. Mayo @ OB/Gyn Specialist p.c.

I love the entire office. It's an all female practice (something I really wanted). They are located on Poplar towards Germantown. They have two Hospitals that they are affiliated with, Baptist Memorial on Walnut Grove near I240 and Methodist in Germantown.

FYI Methodist Hospitals are ranked #1 in Memphis are LeBoheur and have great NCIU.

  • McDonald Murrmann Women's Clinic is where I go. I have been seeing Dr. Cole for nearly 6 years. All of the doctors in the practice are great.

    Welcome to Memphis!

  • Help!  I'm moving to Germantown at the end of the month and will be 20 weeks pregnant.  I've called three offices and they all tell me 2-3 hour wait, plus they don't give tours, which scares me a little to just jump into a practice so far into my pregnancy.  Any updated recommendations since this post is a couple years old?  Thoughts?

  • Dr. Miller is good. She delivered both of my children. She moved her practice a few years ago, but now I still continue to go to Adams-Patterson, Gynocology & Obstetrics but see another doctor. LOVE IT there! I go to the Baptist East location, and I almost NEVER have to wait! The staff is so friendly, and nice. Baptist Women's Hospital is the location I go to. They also have an office located at Methodist Germantown, but I went there once and the wait was HUGE. I prefer Baptist East much more! Good luck!

Dr. Miller started her own practice, and I followed her from Adams-Patterson.  She delivered my DS, and she was nothing short of awesome.   I would always recommend her.
