GRRRR DH and his stupid fan!!!

UGH! I'm not to happy with DH. He is so sweet, but has no common since, poor guy. A few nights ago he said he could not sleep because he was hot. Our window unit was on, even in Texas our nights are cooler, we have his cool air humidifier on, still to hot and air to still for him. I thought it felt great but I feel bad for him so we go buy him a fan. He wants the bigger fan , but I talk him into the smaller one. Our room is not huge...we don't need a huge fan.

I set it up for him so the fan is circulating air, but not on us. We start off the night just fine and at one point DS wakes up and I bring him to bed with us (there for having to have my blanket at waist. ) I was so tired I guess I did not notice how cold it was. BF and we fall asleep. I wake up and it is FREEZING, my nose is runny/stuffy, head killing me. DH has his blanket up over his head all warm and the fan is now facing us!!! Luckily DS was all snuggly in footy jammies. But I feel sick now.

I woke him DH up he tells me how great he slept, and thanked me for letting him have a cold room with stupid moving air so how could "snuggle with me and be under the blankets". I was annoyed needless to say...,.. I'm hiding that fan!

Since I was about 10 I slept with a 20" box fan on high at my head. When my wife and I got together I had to put it on low, angling towards my waist. Now she's gotten to the point where she just tells me the fan's hitting her and I have to turn it away.

So I totally understand where your husband is coming from. Then again, I sleep on top of the sheets a lot too.

A stay at home dad in our midst? Nice. Welcome. My DH stayed at home for DDs first 20 months and several others on the board have sahm husbands as well. Sorry to hijack the thread. I would be irritated too!

Awww DH called me to check on me and apologized though. He can be sweet...

I just really hope we come up with a fan compromise....haha
