Casual Shoes

What sort of casual shoes to you wear? I wear my Nike tennis shoes every single day with pants or flip flops when it's warmer. I feel like I could look a little better if I wore some sort of regular casual shoe, I just don't know what kind are in style or cute. I don't do heals (even small ones) with my back, so it would have to be a flat or athletic type shoe. Any suggestions? What do you wear on a daily basis when you're not working?

I second Privos-- just stay away from their grandma looking ones (ie white velcro with black rubber soles) and try to find their stylish versions.

I wear a lot of ballet flats to work. You can add some insoles if you need more support.

My mom swears by Sperry Topsiders. Now that they are popular again and have a huge range of styles I might look into some for the spring

The style that Melissa posted or boots or ballet flats, depending on my outfit. Summer... flip flops as much as possible! I love shoes but honestly hate wearing them.

I have two pair of Born clogs, brown and black leather. They are so comfy and I love them. They were pricey but well worth it. I have had them for 2 years and they still look brand new.

Okay dumb question...please pardon my fashion ignorance. If I were to get a shoe like this, do I wear socks with the shoes? I think I've always steered away from the ballet like shoes because I don't know "how" to wear them.

I wear Privo for casual and ballet flats for more dressy casual. My Privo's are 3 years old and I bought them in a Clark's sale in England. I wouldn't swap them for the world!
