1. 5 days post-partum. We are hanging tough. Having a lot of pain due to stitches and breastfeeding issues, but so in love with our little guy. Jocelyn has been an awesome big sister too, so that has made things go much more smoothly than I anticipated.
2. We are expecting lots of visitors coming over to meet Connor this weekend, so we will mostly be hanging out at home. We'd like to take Jocelyn somewhere fun if we have the opportunity and I'm feeling up for it, so we may head to the Children's Museum to give her some special attention. LOVE the annual pass!
3. The in-laws are coming over tonight and bringing food, but I'm not sure what we're having. I've been famished and eating like crazy so it doesn't really matter much to me! Hoping to enjoy a glass of wine tonight too
1. Where and how? No clue, not really keeping track since we're not TTC.
2. Weekend plans? Not much. I'm still getting over a cold, DH is working on the cold that I had and Stella is teething so we're not a very pleasant bunch right now.
3. What's for dinner? (changed this one since it's already 1:00!) I put chicken and bbq sauce in the crock pot for pulled chicken sandwiches. It's the best I could come up with at 6am before I left the house!

Jocelyn has been an awesome big sister too, so that has made things go much more smoothly than I anticipated. Hang in there with the BF hopefully the issues will work themselves out! Glad that Jocelyn is adjusting well. That's a huge concern for me when the time comes!
Also, we are loving our season pass to the Children's Museum as well. We've already been 3 times since the middle of January! We usually go when we have friends/family come into town.

1. Where and how? Still waiting for this first cycle off BCP to end. I am glad we are not TTC yet or I would be going crazy. Also very glad I went off BC in advance to TTC to get regulated. I'm having bad cramps and pains, but they have been happening on and off for 3 weeks now so I don't know whether to expect AF or not.
2. Weekend plans? I have to work Sat & Sun, but Saturday is my birthday so we will do something fun that night!
3. What's for dinner? Not sure yet. I would like to just eat out, but I am probably pushing it since we are going out tomorrow. I will likely get stuck cooking something after we get back from the grocery store. We are headed there soon. Any meal ideas??

2. tomorrow DH and I are going out with friends. Yay, for a baysitter and date night!
3. we are getting ready to go downtown to the children's museum when Barrett wakes up. We are just going to meet DH down there when he gets off work and eat someplace downtown...any suggestions for kid friendly places? B is a MESS to take out to dinner right now!

Thanks for reviving the weekly check-in, Whitney! I'm finally ready to be back on the board with some exciting news to post, and everyone's gone!
1. Where and how: 9 weeks, 3 days pregnant and feeling good. Some potentially exciting things are happening with my job situation today, so I'll be going into the weekend with a spring in my step.
2. Weekend Plans: I'm making these deliciously amazing cinnamon chocolate cupcakes tonight for a friend's 30th bday, then going to her Mary Kay party tomorrow afternoon. After that, probably nothing.
3. What's for Dinner: No idea. I was going to get the Q, but ended up eating Mexican for lunch. Nothing's really too appealing to me right now except any form of fried potato, so I might be having another helping or two of tater tots tonight. So nutritious.

Jocelyn can be difficult to enteratin at dinner too. I would highly recommend either Creation Cafe at Buggs Temple on the canal, or Scotty's downtown. Both are loud enough that a tantrum won't phase anyone, and both have good kid's menu options.
1. Where and how? 3 1/2 months PP and doing good. Sam is sleeping longer and longer every week. Here's hoping STTN comes very soon!
2. Weekend plans? NOTHING! I've been trying to purge stuff in our apartment so I'll continue working on that this weekend. I have some stuff I'll be selling at the Whale-of-a-sale so I have to tag all that stuff.
3. What's for dinner? (changed this one since it's already 1:00!) My ILs are coming over for dinner and we're having taco salad. I chose the menu b/c I've been craving chips, salsa and guac which I got for our appetizer!
Oh, and Whitney, I'm hoping Groupon does another special on the annual passes b/c I would love to start taking Sam when he's closer to 1. :-) We went there over the holidays with our niece and nephews and it was so much fun!

This is it, I guess! I've been away from the boards for a long time, so I guess I just decided to sneak it into the check in. Thank you! We are very, very excited.
