So, I'm hoping there might be an SAHM or two who has crossed this bridge before and might be able to offer a recommendation. I need to rollover my retirement savings, but I have no idea how to go about researching these companies. A few that I'm considering: Fidelity, Vanguard, and T. Rowe Price.
I would like to be able to complete the process online and be able to manage my money that way, as well. I have just around $40k to invest and planning to stick to a traditional IRA. (We just wouldn't have the funds to front the taxes on a Roth right now.) Also, we are not planning on adding to my IRA for at least the first year or so that I am at home. Instead, we will focus on building our savings, DH's retirement and a college fund for LO.
Does anyone use these online companies and if so, would you recommend it? Do you have another company which might be better?
Thanks in advance!
