Weekend play groups/mom meet ups

I'm a shy person but I'm interested in meeting some other moms & babies in a play group setting. Although I have my sisters & in-laws with babies, we can't always get together at the same time & I'd really like to have my baby socialized outside of family too. However since I work full time during the week, I'd have to belong to a group that meets on the weekends.
Does anyone know how I can find a local play/mom group? I live in the Mill Creek area & would like to stay local (Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Bothell, Everett areas).
I tried Googling mom & me groups but figured I'd probably get a better response from here.

I recently went to meetup.com and joined to local parenting groups. I am sure you can find some there.

I would also suggest Meetup.com. We go to Evergreen's parent-baby classes and have formed a playgroup through there, but you could also see if any of the ladies on this board are interested in arranging a playdate. I know a lot of us live in your neck of the woods, myself included.

I live in Mill Creek too, but my baby is still baking!

I too have tried looking for playgroups too and found a few through meetup and also some of the girls here live in the same area and have GTG once in awhile.

I also work full time during the week and have been looking for a play group or meet up but most seem to happen during the week. I would be interested in joining on or meeting up some weekend. I live in Edmonds but would be willing to drive slightly north for a meeting.

This! Lily isn't really ready to "play" yet, but I would love to get together with other mom's in the area.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that wants a weekend play group/mom meet up! I feel like I miss out because so many play groups meet during the week when I'm working.

I'm excited & can't wait to meet up with you guys! I'm busy these next 2 Saturdays but am free the weekend of March 12 & beyond. . .
