Share the cute words DC says/used to say

Maile says "farky" for fart. I love it and I will miss it when it's no longer farky. She also says "fvck" for "truck" and it's quite hilarious.

I miss Ethan using the letter "w" for "r." The best ever was if he'd sing fat bottom girls and say "wockin' wouwld go wound." He also still thinks traffic cones are called "cozy cones" (from Cars). I feel like I should tell him soon.

Bella has just her cute little words like puhsketti, but her best things are the huge words that she uses incorrectly.

LOL! Hopefully he doesn't retell the story at school!

  • DD1 likes me to drop me in the 'bobby' (lobby) at dance school.  She also likes to help wipe the 'tavle' (table) after we eat.  Her pacifier was a minky.  And pasta noodles are noonies.  Mac and cheese is 'maca-noonies'.

DD2 has some crazy ones.  She calls a snack a 'no knack' and her pacifier was an 'eeshee'.  Truck is fvck and sit is sh!t.  I told her to SIT DOWN at a restaurant and she yelled back at me no sit!  which sounded like she was yelling NO SH!T, NO SH!T MOMMY!

  • "life's a butter dream"  I NEVER corrected them when they sang that.

when Tay was 1, you could ask any question, and she would answer "I don't know eeeeder!" (either)....we have NO idea where she picked up the either, but she ALWAYS said it...it was TOOOO cute.

The girls used to call Mitchell, "Middle" and now Mitchell calls the girls "my girls"  "Mom, are we picking up my girls at school?"

  • Jane is just really starting to talk so all of her words are a little fuzzy.Right now her favorite words are elmo (eh-mo) and baby (bebe) and she repeats them OVER and OVER again!

Thomas has had some cute ones. He still always replaces the word "her" with the word "she". For example he'll say about Jane "aw, I love she!" He used to call milk "note" and ask for it constantly. He calls the remote the "cre-mote." He has the "w" for the "r" thing going on.

This isn't a cute word persay but he has also taken to calling me his "little sweetheart" lately which I just love!

  • Dd used to substitute "m" for "p." When taking a bath with her brother one night she started laughing at his "mink menis." It became kind of a joke around here, LOL.
  • My very favorite was when DD used to say 'pwuhcuz' for because.  I never corrected her because it sounded so cute.  DS has a lot of cute ones, but they are more situational..it's not just what he says, but WHEN he says it.  He says 'metoo!' to just about everything, which I am convinced is 2nd child syndrome...the whole don't leave me out!  But, I also love when he says, 'canIseecanIsee?!'  Can I see?  It all comes out as one word, but is very clear.
  • My DS would say Mudah instead of Mother.  It sounded like he had a New York accent!
  • instead of "all by myself" she used to say "by all myself"

  • DD used to say Alabema ( Alabama, where my parents live) and I want to sleep in "mommy and daddy's crib."

DS1 still calls a dog a "who, who."  He calls his sister "sissy."  I hated that but she will not let him call her anything else.  If you correct him, DD buts in, "I am his sissy."

I remember once we gave DD white powder donuts and she went around saying "white power."  I don't tell too many people that one.  She also insisted for a while that she was going to marry DS1.

  • "Awful minutes" = off limits

  • I will cry the day my youngest (almost 4) can say the "th" sound.  Until then, I get "Mom, I'm sinking about somesing...I'm swee years old!"  My 6yo says "upposed to" instead of supposed to.  That will also be a dark day for me when it goes away :(
  • Bryan - buhsosoders = bulldozers, deek-deeker = ditch digger, ice-ah-sicles = icicles, pop-ah-sicles = popsicles ?and "I don't beemember" = "I don't remember"

Samantha - she used to call soda "diddy wawaer" ?Fizzy Water. ?She still can't really say R's and Fawts are hilarious in our house. ?"My fawts awe all stuck"?

  • Oh!  And these are some of my favorite sayings ---

"Is that a great idea mom?"

"Aw.  that's so nice of you!"

"Aw.  i really love you mom!"

    "I don't like that idea"

"I can't put on my boots.  I can't find my socks.  I can't brush my teeth.  I can't find my trains.  THAT'S ALL I CAN DOOOOOOOOOO"

     "Mom, you want to snuggle?"

"Roll over mom.  I will pat your back"

"You sit down to poop and pee.  I just sit down to poop."

  • I thought of more.

Taylor was SOOO excited one year when she got a Barnes and Noble's "gifertiferket"  She could NOT say Gift Certificate, no matter how many times we tried to have her say it right....it was always "gifer tifer ket"

Mitch is in the middle of a "mommy rules" phase and he is constantly telling me "Mommy, you are pretty." and "I love you best" 90% of the time its when he's about to get in trouble....but it STILL melts me.

  • I forgot--Maile says "yeyes" instead of "eyes." I love it. This morning she woke up going "Hi mommy. So happy see you. Like you, Mommy. So cute."
