Jarred bananas-- nasty! Homemade-- yum :).

By chance, we had all sorts of jarred stage 1 foods but no bananas, so the only bananas she's ever had are the ones I pureed. Tonight I was out of frozen and wanted to do bananas, so I opened a jar of Earth's Best bananas I bought this weekend. Ew! They smelled so gross and were the color of...flesh, I guess.


Leah was not a fan and ended up kicking really hard so DH dropped the bowl. Even the dog wasn't in a hurry to lick up the floor, lol. I am guessing some things are just better served fresh, and bananas clearly fall into that category!

    LOL!  I love Gerbers bananas.  I don't make my own baby food or else I am sure I would prefer the homemade also :0)
    Our kids are 19mths apart and we LOVE it!!

    LOL.  That is funny!  All of these posts about nasty jarred foods is making me too excited to make my own baby food.  Keep 'em coming!
