Extra Biltmore passes for this weekend

I have 2 extra free passes for the Biltmore Estate for this weekend.  We did have a foursome going, but 1 girl got the flu, and anothers dog had to be put to sleep, so we are down to me and my friend Jen.

The passes are free, I have already called and made a reservation to tour the house at 11:30 on Sunday.

I just thought it might be nice to meet some fellow Bumpies and enjoy some culture at the same time. 

I've posted over on TBW as well, but no interest so far.  PM me if you'd like to join us. (You don't have to feel obligated to spend the whole time with us - you can grab the passes and go!)

    Wish I was in TN I would take you up on the offer in a heartbeat.  I was just reading Devil in the White City and they talk a lot about Fredrick Olmsted working on Biltmore, who developed the plans for all the grounds so it perked my interest in the estate.  Have fun. Bummer that nobody wants to go but have a good time with your family!

    It's a real coincidence that I got the passes, I just finished reading The Lost Choice, and the Vanderbilts are mentioned in that too.

    Hoping the weather cooperates!

    It is a beautiful place, you'll enjoy it if you have never been.  DH worked there when he was an undergrad so when we went I got a private tour. lol He always tells funny stories about working 3rd shift security.
